Manjulatha Badam MD, CWSP, UHM, is trained & board-certified in Internal Medicine, Wound Care, and Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine with over 15 years of clinical experience preventing limb amputations & healing chronic wounds. Known for her compassion and the best bedside manners, Dr. Badam strives to improve the standard of wound care and hyperbarics at Vayu Advanced Wound Clinic and Hyperbarics in San Antonio, Texas.
Dr. Badam completed her Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a Fellowship in Under-Sea and Hyperbaric Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans.
To stay up to date with the latest advances in her field, Dr. Badam maintains professional memberships with the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Bexar County Medical Society, the American Medical Association, the Wounds Society, and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Badam has won several awards recognizing her for her teaching abilities and medical prowess. Namely, she has earned the teaching faculty award at Weill Cornell School of Medicine, Houston, and America's Top Physician Award for eleven consecutive years.
